"Taozen refinished the hardwood floors in our house last month. They exceeded our expectations in every single aspect. "We picked Taozen, based on the reviews, to refinish the white oak floors on our house we just purchased. The carpets were recently ripped, and the floor was in really bad shape. Taozen responded to my email with rough estimates, and showed up on time for a in-person estimate. They quoted us a great rate and pointed out things that could NOT be fixed (nail heads from the carpet which has rusted through, other marks which had stained the wood through). They was professional and courteous. Since we had not yet moved in, we had a week and I believe they took 4 days to refinish the whole house with 3 coats. I met the crew once, and they were friendly and seemed hard at work. The floors look great now!"

"We recently had our really horrible floors replaced with some great Australian Cypress and we were lucky enough to choose Taozen as our contractors. They came out and gave us a very reasonable quote and took care of everything after that. The team that came out were professional and very considerate. They worked quickly, cleaned up after themselves and we ended up with exactly what we wanted. I would highly recommend them and would readily use them again. We have recently had the Taozen crew out again, this time to lay hardwood in our master bedroom. The guys that came out did an excellent job again. "We bought a condo with ugly red carpeting, so the first thing we did was shop around for hard wood and flooring contractors. We met with several and Taozen was priced in the middle. Why did we pick them? The team came by and took measurements the day we spoke. Their attention to detail, when it came to assessing the job was immaculate. They provided a quote the same evening and an exact estimate of the material needed. Nothing was wasted at the end. Taozen committed to starting work in two days and completed the job within 3; one day sooner than they had planned for. They also offered to pick up the material that I had ordered saving me a few hundred dollars in delivery expenses. I gave Taozen the keys to my condo and came back 4 days later to see it all done and perfectly clean. The job wasn't simple. The concrete sub floor ended up being uneven which Taozen fixed. The team also had to work around the schedule of the painter. I casually mentioned to the team that we were tiling the kitchen and bathrooms next, so they taped down protective covering once the wooden floors were down. I called Taozen a couple weeks after, when we finished the rest of the remodeling work to inquire whether they could send someone to install bi-fold doors for all our closets. They sent someone the next day and they didn't accept payment either. To put it plainly. If you want a job well done at a very reasonable price with absolutely no worries, pick Taozen."

"I am extremely pleased with Taozen's work. The work is very high quality, and the team was responsive to my changes and working around the schedule of my general contractor. The original estimate was accurate, and Taozen explained in detail when any additional materials were needed (in this case, it was due to the condition of the concrete subfloor). The most value-added suggestion that Taozen made was to keep an existing 3x6 section of herringbone-patterned hardwood flooring in the entryway. I initially planned to remove it and run the new hardwood flooring through this section, but they suggested that it would be better to sand and stain the section to match the color of the new flooring. This was a great suggestion and it looks fantastic. I would certainly recommend Taozen to anyone looking for a professional company that puts the interests of the customer first."

"These guys work miracles! When we ripped up our carpets we were scared with what we saw. I mean it looked like a dozen seagals came and were living in the house, and not to mention the electrical socket that was in the middle of the room. I almost didn't believe it when i saw our floors.
Taozen was also very professional and always timely. We also needed patch work done that we didn't know about and the team accommodated us to get the work done! After dealing with some people and not having them show up or take longer than they said, these guys made me realize there are good companies out there too. The team came to the house and went over everything before they started the work to give us an idea and then once the work was done they checked everything. Taozen was very professional. They also cleaned up after themselvesl. These guys are great and gave me a little peace of mind!"

"I approached getting new hardwood floors with some trepidation. As a woman living alone and a natural DIY-er, I tend to be uncomfortable with strange workers in my home. It didn't help that one of my friends recently had a hardwood flooring nightmare (he didn't listen to my advice about using Angie's List). However, I was very comfortable with Taozen. They were respectful, courteous, and knowledgeable. They installed a quality product and did a good job. One of their men spent a good hour cutting two planks to perfectly fit around my fireplace. It was a really difficult cut, but he did it well. The team was very neat and vacuumed regularly. They were also nice enough to help me move some of my things and to cut a few pieces of wood for me as a favor. There was a bit of a language barrier but I felt like I could communicate with them well enough. I was very happy with Taozen and I would go with them again."

"Taozen provided exceptional value end-to-end. First, the team has great taste and helped me through the decision process of finding the just-right wood grain and color for our home. Beyond that, they made recommendations on updating the look of our home and gave me ideas I would have never thought of. Second, we had overlooked the fact that we'd need to move and store our furniture so that the hardwood could be installed. Taozen referred us to a small firm in their network who were reasonably priced and scheduled quickly. They also referred us to a painting company, which also did a fabulous job for us. Third, the team were all courteous, hardworking, dependable and trustworthy. They showed up on time every morning, took care to clean up every day, and stayed on task. Finally, the attention to detail and quality was top notch. Taozen cared about little details that I never thought of - that the abutting bathroom floor projected more than normal so the hardwood should be laid a certain way, or the specific shade of stain for the refinished floor. "TAOZEN WAS AMAZING IN EVERY WAY!! From my first call with Tao, during which I explained I was from a different state, they put me at ease. The team explained that it all could be done online and this gave me confidence. They toured my condo within two days, suggested type of flooring, type of wood to best match the built in cabinets. Taozen also suggested (IN THE SAME PRICE RANGE) a different approach based on what they believed to be current buyer/renter trends in that area. This is important to me. They did not try to upgrade my choices by suggesting an alternative. This is when I knew Taozen was the perfect contractor for me. The team did amazing work, even needing to "level out" a faulty area where the previous contractor added a higher level for the kitchen area.
